Langara College Association of Retirees (LCAR) is a network of all former faculty, staff, and administrators who have retired from Langara College.
LCAR was created to allow Langara College retirees to stay connected with each other through the pursuit of activities of common interest, and to facilitate retirees’ continued engagement with the College and its students.

- Spring 2026 Workshops
LCAR and the Langara College Foundation are hosting a free Estate Planning Workshop on Thursday, April 9 starting at 10:00am. This workshop will address the steps involved in planning out a well-prepared estate plan and well beyond just preparing a will.

- Langara College Foundation – Support Our Students
For over 25 years, the Langara community has supported students in need.
This bursary provides crucial financial aid to students facing challenges.
With rising living costs, more students are struggling to afford food, housing, and transportation. Our goal is to raise critical funds to provide vital support and help students stay focused on their studies this season.
Last December, thanks to the generosity of our donors, our campaign supported 350 students, helping them cover essential expenses and focus
on their studies during a challenging time of year.LCAR Members have supported S.O.S. years before and years after retirement. Please consider continuing your support this year.
